Further Information

Mandops (UK) Limited is a well known, family-owned company based in Hampshire, which last year celebrated its 25th Anniversary. During that time, it has been at the forefront of technological innovation, with the manufacture and distribution of a wide range of plant growth regulators (PGRs), adjuvants, plant growth stimulants and foliar plant health products, which are now marketed in a wide range of countries.

Our Sprayfast® adjuvant has been hugely successful over a number of years within the agricultural sector but recently we have more fully developed its wider applications within UK horticulture. Sprayfast® contains a unique formulation of di-1-p-menthene, non-ionic wetting agent and a safening system. It is used primarily in tank-mixture with other products as a rainfast sticker in periods of unsettled weather or as a plant safener. It is also used on its own as an anti-transpirant.

In addition to Sprayfast®, we have developed a unique range of patent protected plant health fertilisers for use in horticulture. These were initially developed following technical discussions with Plant Propagators Limited, who were looking for a product to improve the quality and rooting of seedlings for transplanting. Stimul-8® is a liquid fertiliser that dramatically increases plant rooting, establishment and vigour, speeding up growth and development, ensuring a faster and less expensive throughput. Normally applied as a foliar application from very early establishment, Stimul-8® has now been proven over a wide range of horticultural crops, including soft fruit, bedding, ornamentals, herbaceous and vegetables.

Propag-8® is applied slightly later in development, ideally after Stimul-8, for the maintenance of plant health and vigour, ensuring the swift and inexpensive production of top quality, healthy plants.

2007 will see the launch of a novel growing medium incorporating Mandops fertiliser, which has been specifically designed for the speedier development of healthy, top quality plants, bringing considerable cost savings to the plant producer.
