A family business established in 1919, we have many years experience of plant raising for the commercial grower. For over 25 years Bulrush Horticulture has been developing and supplying high quality growing media to professional growers in the UK. The company is market leader in a number of sectors and can offer the following benefits :-
- Substantial raw material resources under company management producing quality peat from sites in Ireland. There are no conservation designations on any of our production sites.
- Modern factory production facilities to blend and screen the peat and mix ingredients. We are the only company using batch mixing systems to achieve product consistency and complete product traceability.
- Internal quality checks carried out on all production, reference samples retained and external laboratory analyses provided on request. Comprehensive product specification and hygiene reports provided to growers to meet the requirements of the PPL accreditation scheme.
- Bulrush Horticulture is accredited to ISO 9001:2000 quality management standard and ISO 14001:1996 environmental management standard.
- Ongoing R & D and investment in new production facilities to improve our products and service levels to our customers. Our technical staff provide advice as required and can call on external expertise as needed.
